Brown, Lisa Mary – Age 48, North River, passed away on September 27, 2020 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro with loved ones by her side. Born on September 29, 1971 in Truro to the late Warren and Jean (McNutt) Lynds of North River. Lisa worked as a hairstylist for many years, but was most recently employed by Stanfield’s Ltd., Truro – a job which she truly enjoyed. Lisa loved flowers and gardening as well as her fur babies - Jacob and Diesel, who miss her dearly. She was an avid music lover, always sending friends the latest “good” song she had found and would always be up for a game of Yahtzee. Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Scott Brown; daughter Chelsea MacKenzie (Montreal, QC); brothers, Randy (Jeannie), Salmon River, Robbie (Jean), Valley, Ron (Karen), Bible Hill; mother-in-law, Bunnie Brown, Bible Hill; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Cecil, Carl and Curtis McNutt and Jeffrey Lynds, all of North River. No visitation or service by request. A private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Colchester SPCA. We would like to offer our sincere gratitude to the amazing staff of the ICU in the Colchester East Hants Heath Centre who gave such great care to Lisa and for the kindness shown to her family over the past couple of weeks.
