Marlene Lorraine Glass Obituary

Marlene Lorraine Glass was born April 4, 1969 to the late Milton V. Glass, Sr. and Maudestine Glass in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the fourth child of five children. She attended public schools in Duval County graduating from Andrew Jackson High School “Class of 1987”.

Marlene was affectionately known as “Molly” to her family and friends. She loved football; her favorite team was Indianapolis Colts. Her love, kindness, unselfishness and concern for family and friends made her a “Beautiful Person”. Marlene was well known in each area she stayed at as the “Candy Lady”. She loved all the children and best believe the children loved her as well. Her occupation was to make the children happy. Marlene was a go getter full of happiness, joy, laughter, and enjoyment.

Marlene Lorraine Glass “Molly” answered the Master’s call on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 and slept away peacefully.

Molly leaves to cherish her precious memories her, two children, Arthur James Lester, III and Tanna Nicole Hall; one grandson, Amari Jamal Lester; loving mother, Maudestine Glass; siblings, Milton V. Glass, Jr. (Kathy) of Tallahassee, FL, Cheryl Young (William), Valerie Glass and Ryan Glass (Katrina) Tallahassee, FL; godmother, Cora Jackson; special friends, Angela Shubert, Sherry Bellamy and Florence Shellman; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews,  cousins, other relatives and friends.
