Connie Di Juan Winslow Obituary

Connie Di Juan (McDowell) Winslow was born March 26, 1961 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Alma Clellene (Myers) and Kenneth McDowell. She passed away Friday, September 25th, 2020 in Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years, 5 months and 30 days. Connie grew up in Sayre and Butler and attended school in both communities. She was married to Steven Eugene Winslow at Wheeler, Texas on June 12, 1986. She started her family with the birth of her son, Carlos in 1978, followed by the birth of her daughter Stevanna in 1984, and in 1987 the birth of a son, Reydon. She and Steven raised their family in Elk City, Oklahoma where she was a homemaker and took care of her family. While she was raising her kids she obtained her GED in 2003. In 2010 they moved out to Foss Lake where they enjoyed spending time with family and friends and riding their Harley-Davidson. Connie never met a stranger and had so much love for everyone and would take them in as her own just as an "extension of her family" she would say. Even in hard times of her own she would feed them if they were hungry. Her famous dish was "Connie What The ****", and it was delicious! She always lent an ear to anyone that needed it and had a way of making people feel very special. Connie treasured her grandkids and loved so much getting to spend time with them and caring for them in her fun way. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth McDowell, Alma and Doyle Richardson; grandparents, Connie and Clella (Copenhaver) Myers and one son, Reydon Winslow. Connie is survived husband, Steve "Animal", of the home; 2 children, Carlos Myers and wife, Kandra, Sayre, OK and Stevanna Winslow, Clinton, OK; 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emily, Madison, Gracie Chayse; 1 great granddaughter, Wrenlee and many other relatives and special friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Trinity Fellowship. Arrangements are under the direction of Chris Whinery and the staff of Affordable Cremation Service-West.
