Brent Alden Langner Porcupine Plain, Saskatchewan Obituary

Brent Alden Langner

Brent Alden Langner was born on September 17, 1963 to Robert and Vivian Langner in Humboldt, SK. Brent was the second of 4 boys; Todd, Brent, Darren and Wade. The boys were all born very close together and Todd and Brent were actually the same age for five days each year. The family lived in Attica on the farm until 1979 when they moved to Mistatim. Brent went to school in Lanigan until grade 10 and finished his schooling in Mistatim. After graduation Brent worked at many different jobs including the Hudson Bay alfalfa plant, pipelining with Kenting United and then settled into logging for many years with Hrbachek’s. Todd and Brent most often could be found working together. They built RTM’s at DnD Construction and eventually worked together at Todd’s Overhead Doors where they also did many building and renovation projects in Saskatoon. Brent was a true “jack of all trades” and enjoyed puttering at many different projects and working on all types of equipment, but his love for mechanics always shone through. He was a very meticulous person and did everything with care and attention to detail. Brent dabbled in hunting and fishing and enjoyed getting out to the cabin with Wade. One of his treasures was the library of movies and shows that Wade had put together for him as he thoroughly enjoyed his movies. Brent was a wonderful blessing to his family and moved back to Mistatim to help care for his parents. While living in Mistatim he worked for area farmers and most recently took on huge landscaping efforts with Darren and Twyla as well. Brent will be missed dearly by his mother, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Todd and his father Robert. “You went away so suddenly we did not say goodbye but brothers can never be parted precious memories never die” He Is Gone You can shed tears that he is gone Or you can smile because he has lived You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left Your heart can be empty because you can't see him Or you can be full of the love that you shared You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday You can remember him and only that he is gone Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back Or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
