Ofelia R. Garcia, 53, longtime Deming resident passed away Sunday September 27, 2020 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.

A Funeral Service will take place Tuesday September 29, 2020 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Baca’s Funeral Chapel.  Danny Macias will officiate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, 40% of the capacity of the building will be allowed and masks must be worn at all times. Cremation will follow at Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.

Ofelia was born May 25, 1967 to Patrocinia Gutierrez and Felipe Rincon in Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico.  She was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses and enjoyed the company of everyone with laughter and happiness.  She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her! 

She is survived by her husband, Sergio Garcia of the home; mother, Patrocinia Rincon of Deming; son, Sergio Garcia Jr. and his wife Annais of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Reveca Garcia of Deming; brothers, Guadalupe Rincon of Deming, Marcos Rincon of Odessa, TX, Alfred Rincon of Bagdad, AZ, and David Rincon of Albuquerque; sisters, Elva Torres of San Antonio, TX and Sonia Palacios of Deming; 12 grandchildren. 

Ofelia was preceded in death by her father, Felipe Rincon and sister, Maria Dolores “Lola” Granillo.
