Bernadette Moore, 66, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020.  Bernadette had been a resident at Bannister Center, Providence, for two years.  Thank you to the staff at Bannister for embracing Bernadette as part of your family. Your kindness and care for Bern is greatly appreciated.

A native of Providence, Bernadette has also lived in North Providence, Johnston, Warwick and East Greenwich. She attended Mount Pleasant High School and later was proud to complete her GED. She was employed as a medical secretary for Blue Cross, a CNA for Whalen Health and a salesperson for Yankee Candle.

Bernadette was predeceased by her parents Philomena (Perfetto) and Bernard Moore.  She is survived by several cousins including Angela from Connecticut who has been a continual support for Bernadette.   She loved the ocean and Victorian and angel décor. One of her favorite pastimes was attending art and craft shows. She loved her friends and taking care of others.  She was strong willed and fought hard to keep her addictions in check.

Bernadette is at peace and will be missed. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October, 1, 2020 at A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence.  Visiting hours are from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Ann’s Church, 280 Hawkins St., Providence.  Burial will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
