Robert Dale Hendricks, Sr., 70 passed away on September 28, 2020 at his home in Mangum, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born to William Hendricks and Vernita (Ellison) Hendricks on October 9, 1949 in Mangum, Oklahoma. He graduated from Mangum High School and was drafted into the Army shortly after graduation. He served in the Army from November 1968 through December 1971. Robert married the love of his life, Jenette Hendricks in 1977 in Wellington, Texas; Together the couple was blessed with four children; William, Robert., Janette, and Vinessa. Robert and Jenette were married 28 years before Jenette passed away in 2005. Robert worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator during his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with this family. He is preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Jenette Hendricks; Brothers, Johnnie Ray Hendricks, Willie Hendricks; Sister Wanda Jean Hendricks Ferguson. Left to honor Robert’s memory are his children, William Ray of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Robert Dale Hendricks, Jr. and his wife Monqiue of Yukon, Oklahoma, Janette Ray Hobson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Vinessa Moore and husband Jimmie of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Sisters, Bertha Spencer of Mangum, Oklahoma and Johnetta Lane of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Grandchildren, Kyisha Pondexter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Michael Hobson of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Kara Daniels of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Janessa Ray of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Nasyr Labat Clayton of Yukon, Oklahoma, Taren Ray of Lawton, Oklahoma, Tyrell Ray of Altus, Oklahoma and Laqualla Ray of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Great Grandchildren, Kingston Geretta, Aaliyah Hobson, Ja’Ceion Pondexter, Princeston Hobson, Juelz Hobson, Amir Pondexter, De’shauna Daniels, Mariah Swait, Jada Swait, Marcus Daniels, Jamaal Swait, Jr., Mar’shauna Daniels, and Ziprys Clayton; As well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Mangum, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, in Mangum.
