GLOUCESTER – Jane L. (Moulton) Walsh, 73, of Gloucester passed away on Sunday morning, September 27, 2020 at Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Gloucester. She was the beloved wife of Joseph M. Walsh. Born in Gloucester, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Morey) Moulton. She was raised in Gloucester and was a graduate of Gloucester High School. Jane worked as a dedicated bookkeeper for many years at her family owned business J.M. Walsh Oil Company and Flannagan’s Gas Company both in Gloucester. For over twenty years, Jane enjoyed volunteering as the co-chair at the Gloucester Archives Office at City Hall. She was also a member of the National Archives for many years. Jane was a talented cook and often enjoyed working in her garden. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Jane along with her husband Joseph loved to travel and Maine was their favorite place to visit. In addition to her husband with whom she shared fifty-five years of marriage, she is survived by her two daughters, Janelle Favaloro and her husband Frank of Rockport and Jennifer Walsh and her fiancé Bill Parks of Rockport; six grandchildren, Daniel Favaloro, Matthew Favaloro and his wife Ariana Minghetti, Katie Favaloro, Joshua Proposki, Jessica Wiberg and her husband Tovia and Brandi Parks; one great grandchild, Trey Wiberg; three brothers, John Moulton and his wife Deborah of Sedona, Arizona, Joel Moulton and his fiancée Heidi Rochna of Beverly and Brian Moulton and his wife Cherie of Chicago, Illinois and two nephews, John and Weston Moulton. She was also predeceased by her son, Joseph M. Walsh Jr. Her funeral service and burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
