Brother of Frank (Anna) D’Angela. Uncle of Antonio (Elaine) D’Angela, Incoronata D’Angela, and Civita (Chris) Wicks. Father of Derek (Jennifer). Visitation Thursday from 2-8 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. Instate Friday from 12:30 pm until the time of the Mass at 1 PM at St. Lucy Church, 23401 E Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. Memorial contributions may be made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Born of Italian immigrant parents, Clement D’Angela spent most of his career working in commercial construction. He was the treasurer for his family’s own D’Angela Construction which specialized in the installation of municipal water mains, sewer lines and tunneling projects. For several years prior to retirement, he worked in custom commercial cabinetry. A diligent “jack-of-all-trades,” he was usually busy with home projects and helping others. For him, the best part of retirement was spending time with family and friends, and “having fun.”
