Robert J Ocel

Ocel, Robert J."Humbum", age 90, formerly of Coon Rapids, passed away on September 26, 2020. He will be deeply missed by his children, Chris Coletta, Terry (Jim) Klosterman, Tom (Peg) Ocel and grandchildren Brigon, Kelli, Ben and Kate. Bob is preceded in death by Betty, his wife of 60 years, parents Steven and Anna Ocel, brothers Richie and Stevie, and little sister Mary Ann Whiteside. Due to Covid19, a private interment will occur at Fort Snelling and a celebration of his life will be scheduled for summer 2021 at his beloved lake. Both Bob and Betty died from the “long goodbye” of Alzheimer’s. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial in their names to the Alzheimer’s Association at http://act.alz.org/goto/TheKlostermans. We will find the first survivor of this horrible disease! Immense thanks to Crosby's Heartwood Senior Living and the Cuyuna Medical Center and Hospice. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Katherine Drexel Church, located at 7101 143rd Ave. Suite G Ramsey, MN.
