<p>Surrounded by his loving family, Norman Lewis McBay passed peacefully away at Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice on Friday, September 25, 2020 following a courageous but brief battle with cancer. Norman was born in Saint John in June of 1952 to the late Lewis King and Edith McBay.&nbsp;He was&nbsp;&nbsp;an interesting man who enjoyed&nbsp;time with his grandson Hudson, family and friends. Norman&nbsp;worked for Connors Bros. Ltd. &nbsp;as a Floor Supervisor. He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and reading tarot cards.</p> <p>He is survived by his devoted and loving partner of 35 years Fowler &ldquo;Fowdy&rdquo; Gaudett of Black&rsquo;s Harbour; daughter&nbsp;Audreyrose&nbsp;McBay&nbsp;(Jamie&nbsp;Langlais)&nbsp;of Saint John; adopted daughter Eva Firlotte (Dennis) of St. George; precious grandson Hudson Langlais; Gaudett nieces&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;nephews, co-workers, friends and canine companion Penny. Along with his parents, Norman was predeceased by his aunt Edith McBay (Andidi) and special canine companions Toby and Nicki.&nbsp;</p> <p>Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation on Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. Masks are highly recommended and social distancing guidelines will be followed. &nbsp;A graveside service will be held at Pennfield Rural Cemetery, Young Road, Pennfield, NB&nbsp;on Saturday,&nbsp;October 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Norman&rsquo;s memory may be made to Bobby&rsquo;s Hospice or to the SPCA &ndash;Animal Rescue League. Surrounded by his loving family, Norman Lewis McBay passed peacefully away at Bobby’s Hospice on Friday, September 25, 2020 following a courageous but brief battle with cancer. Norman was born in Saint John in June of 1952 to the late Lewis King and Edith McBay. He was  an interesting man who enjoyed time with his grandson Hudson, family and friends. Norman worked for Connors Bros. Ltd.  as a Floor Supervisor. He enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and reading tarot cards.
