Lois Ann Whittington

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lois Ann Whittington, 81, of Calhoun, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe with Dr. Marty Black officiating. Interment will follow in New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday. Lois Ann Whittington was born September 6, 1939 and passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020, at her residence with her daughters by her side. She was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church, and she loved her church family and volunteered her time whenever needed. Ann was a devoted homemaker and wife. She is preceded in death by Ira Whittington, her husband of 57 years. Survivors include her daughters, Molly Gengenbach and husband Joseph, and Bonnie Williams and husband Jason; grandchildren, Gareth Gengenbach, Eli Gengenbach, Timothy Moore, Cody Moore, and Casey Moore; great grandson, Easton Moore; sister, Pat Bothwell and husband Dick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter.
