Medway – Everett Alton Day, 92, passed away peacefully at his son’s home on Sunday, September 27, 2020. Everett was born on April 9, 1928 to the late Llewellyn and Daisey (White) Day. Everett married the love of his life Theresa M. Michaud on November 27, 1950. They were married 49 years before her passing on March 20, 2000. He served 8 years in the Army, during that time he fought in the Korean War. Everett worked at Great Northern for 27 years before retiring. He enjoyed spending time in the woods, hunting and fishing. Everett is survived by his children, Gina Leanard; Philip Day and his wife Linda; Blaine Day and his wife Cindy; Cerise Montgomery; Amy Pasanen and her husband Timmy, and Llewellyn Day and his wife Roxanne; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Hazel Beach; Millard Day; and Gertrude McRevey; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend Barbara Lane. Everett was predeceased by 3 children, Dana Day; Lenore Cassidy, and Cecile Day; grandson, Rodney Lane; great granddaughter, Bailey Grant and 3 siblings, Walter Day; Morris Day; and Sally Jacobs. The family would like to say a very special thankyou to the staff at Community Health and Counseling for all the care they gave Everett. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 10 at the East Millinocket Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
