Dorothy Tanase, 93, of Johnstown, died on September 25, 2020 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

Born January 27, 1927 in Johnstown, daughter of Bartola and Catherine (Antonazzo) Renda.

Preceded in death by her mother, father, stepmother Mary (Pollino) Renda, husband Henry Tanase, brothers-in-law Frank Torina, Frank Sciotto, Jim Tanase, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Frank and Leona Sciotto, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Buster and Katie Tanase, and sisters-in-law Margaret Renda and Josephine Tanase.

Survived by daughter Mary Teresa wife of Richard Glosky, granddaughter Leah married to Colin, 1 great-grandchild, sisters Margaret Torina, Lena Sciotto, Mary Jane wife of Anthony Arena, brother Sam Renda. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorothy was formerly employed at CayArtley, GeeBee Accounting Office, and at Formica Optical.

She was a lifelong former member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, and current member of Visitation Parish where a Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Rev. John J. Slovikovski. Private Interment, St. Anthony Cemetery.

Facial masks and social distancing protocols enforced at mass.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd. Johnstown PA 15905.
