Morrison, Jeffrey Wayne, Lower West Pubnico, passed away unexpected on September 24th,2020. Born, June 6th,1965, in Shelburne, NS, he was a son to Ethel May (Morrison)Firth and the late Edward Firth. He met his biological father, Roger Cordeau, in 2012. Jeff was a fisherman for 37 years, his heart belonged to the sea. He had a contagious smile and loved to make people laugh. One would say he had no filter and was never afraid to voice his opinion. In recent years he had become quite a tool collector, enjoying reconnecting with old hobbies and learning new ones. Also, anyone that knew him knew his love for a Timmies Coffee, a place where he would be sure to bump into new and old friends. He loved his family dearly and was very proud of his children. Besides his parents, he leaves behind to morn, his loving wife, Marina (Thompson), Lower West Pubnico; daughters, Lacey (Anthony Nickerson), Brooklyn; Jade (Devon Ackles), Brooklyn; Miley Morrison, Lower West Pubnico; son, Cameron Morrison, Arcadia; stepsons, Nathen (Jessica) Burke, Wellington; Brandon Burke, Yarmouth; granddaughters, Aurora and Cadence; brother Adam (Nancy) Firth; sisters, Angela (Colin) King; Marilyn Morrison as well as many other siblings he recently connected with. He embraced every new person he met, he had so many friends that he cherished as family. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A Memorial service will be held, Wednesday, September 30th,2020, at 2 pm from the Anglican Church Hall, Shelburne . To allow more people to view the memorial service, and due to the COVID 19 restrictions, there will also be a live Facebook viewing. For those who are not already on his friend's list, you can make a friend request, and a family member will do their best to accept all. Memorial donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
