David Edwin Blankenship, 59, of Boones Mill, VA went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was preceded by his parents, Edwin Earl and Christine Switzer Blankenship; and his brothers, Allen, Michael, and Marion Blankenship.

David was an avid outdoorsman. He was a loving and devoted brother who will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his sisters, Carol (Gene) Hannah, Janice Ashworth, Joy Clark, Vickie Gleason and Karen Ratcliff; brothers, Bill (Betty) Blankenship, and Raymond Blankenship; aunt, Lois Blankenship; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
