Patsy Robertson Obituary

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way; When sorrows, like sea billows, roll; Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, It is well, It is well, with my soul.

Christopher Young Funeral Home respectfully announces the earthly transition of Mrs. Patsy Robertson.

Mrs. Patsy Young Robertson, affectionately known as “Pat,” was born in Millen, Ga on June 27, 1946 to the late Rosie Mae Young and Frank Scott Jr. Pat entered peacefully into eternal rest on September 25, 2020 at her residence.

Pat received her former education at Aaron Elementary School. She accepted Christ at an early age, and was united with True Born Church of Christ, where she attended faithfully until her health began to decline. In her early years, Pat worked as a housekeeper and was later employed by Crider Poultry. Pat was very devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family, listening to gospel music, and completing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

Pat began her family lineage with the birth of her daughter Mary Young. She was later united in holy matrimony to James Robertson. Their union was blessed with their son, Jackie Young.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Ethel Jones, Alice Young, and Louise Scott Williams; her brothers: David Young, Lonzie Duvall, Sammy Duvall, Walter Lowe, Thomas Scott, Floyd Scott, Luell Scott, and Lee James Parker.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, James Robertson; a daughter, Mary Young; a son, Jackie Young; her sisters, Luvenia (Bobby) Sopher, Onnie Haynes, Bernice (Roosevelt) Garner, Mamie (Bill) Garner, Annie Foster, Frankie Sanders, Cassandra Scott, Myra Rhodes, Virginia Scott, Martha Scott, Barbara Bond, and a very special sister who served as her caregiver, Beatrice Jones; her brothers, James (Mary) Young, Arthur Young, Isaac Young, Tommy (Allie) Scott, Richard (Sharon) Scott, Jesse (Katie) Scott, Ernest Scott, Sam Scott, Eddie Scott, Peter Scott, and Timothy Scott; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Kelsey Young; her sisters-in-law, Betty Mobley Jones, Susie Scott, Anna Mae Scott, Delores (Henry) Jones, Thelma (Nelson) Spruill, Nolia Parker, and Virginia Robertson; her brother-in-law, John (Christina) Robertson Jr.; her grandchildren, Christopher (Tierra) Young Sr. and Clarissa Young; her great-grandchildren, Ja’Kweon Lee, Christopher Young Jr., Chastity Young, Carmello Young, Neriah Young, Chelsi Young, Chidera Ogali, and Tavarious Reeves; a special niece, Annie Sutton, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friend.
