Oliver Muterspaugh

Oliver Odin Muterspaugh, 4 months old, of Salem, gained his wings on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. Oliver was an incredibly happy baby boy, he was always laughing and smiling. It was not uncommon to see hopping and dancing around to any kind of music you would play. Anyone who knew him knows firsthand that little boy loved to eat! But since the day he was born, he has a shining beacon of love and happiness to this world. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, George, and Shirley Muterspaugh, as well as Dorrine, and Houston Jessie; he is also preceded in death by his aunt, Lisa Muterspaugh. Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Leslie Muterspaugh; father, Tommy Brown; grandmother, Christine Jessie; grandfather, George Muterspaugh; aunts, Catie Wilson, Katelynn Simmons, Jasmine Redd, and Autumn Ruble; uncle, Jon Jessie; god-father, Gary Dillion; also left to cherish his memory are numerous family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 28, 2020, from 1 to 2:00 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel. A celebration of his life will be held immediately following at 2:00 p.m. and will be live stream broadcasted. Oliver will be laid to rest at Fairview Memorial Garden’s in Roanoke, VA, following a private family graveside service on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Rev. Roy Kanode will be officiating.
