Lori Anne Elledge Leesville, Louisiana Obituary

Lori Anne Elledge

Lori Anne Elledge was born June 16, 1964 in Galveston, Texas and passed away September 25, 2020 in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 56. When her health allowed, she loved going to church and attending Bible study classes. When she lived in Texas, Lori attended Cedar Bayou Baptist Church in Baytown. Lori was a warrior, and she fought and won against leukemia earlier in life. She had a positive attitude and a giving spirit. Learning was important to her, and she earned several Associates degrees in the medical field. After receiving one of these degrees, Lori and her son, Jerry, graduated together. Playing bingo and printing recipes were some things she enjoyed, but her family was the most important thing to her. When her grandchildren would visit, Lori loved to have wheelchair races in the hallway and was anxiously waiting to be able to hold her newest grandson Carter. Lori was preceded in death by her stepfather, Don Cochran. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jerry Elledge and wife Renata, daughter, Rachel Keith and husband Thomas, mother, Wilma Cochran, father, Jerry Griffin, grandchildren, Kyle Elledge; Benjamin Elledge; Ryan Elledge; and Carter Keith, and former husband, Randy Elledge. Funeral services for Lori will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Road Highlands, Texas. Burial will follow in Sterling-White Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2nd.
