With heavy hearts, the family of John “Jack” Frederick Dixon announces his passing, which occurred at Bobby’s Hospice on September 26, 2020. Jack was born in Saint John on September 28, 1952 and was the loving partner of Sharon Langley. Along with his partner Sharon, Jack is survived by his sons Bobby-Jo and Adam Nicholas (Courtney) Dixon, the mother of his children Susan Wills, brother Michael Clark, sisters Joanne Gallant, Rose Marie (Richard) Stevens, Margaret (Ron) Fairweather and “Papa’s joy”, his granddaughter Hannah Rose. Jack was pre-deceased by his brothers Francis and Donald Dixon.
Jack was a lifelong resident of Saint John who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his sons and granddaughter. He worked as a labourer for Global Conventions and Fernhill Cemetery, and was a member of the Adanac Association and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #58. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers of Bobby's Hospice. The kindness, compassion, love and support you offered Jack and family were deeply felt and greatly appreciated. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
