Bessie Mae Sisler Obituary

Bessie Mae Taylor Sisler, 67 of Tunnelton, WV went to be with the Lord, Friday, September 25, 2020. She was born June 5, 1953 in Grafton, daughter of the late Elza Andrew Tayor Sr and Edwina Virginia Wiles Taylor. Bessie enjoyed doing crafts, and going to yard sales. She was a member of The Gospel Barn Assembly in Bridgeport. Bessie loved going to church and spending time with her family and friends. Bessie is survived by one daughter, Michele Lynn Miller, Kingwood, one son, Virgil Lee Knotts and wife, Nicki, Kingwood; seven grandchildren, Kayla Simms and companion, Jonathan, Kingwood, Megan Pyles and husband, Jeremy, Tunnelton, Dakota Knotts, Albright, Austin Knotts, Beckley, Breanna and companion Matt, Grafton, Colton Drake, Reedsville and Trinity Knotts, Kingwood; two great-granddaughters, Aria Pyles and Elliana Pyles; two great grandsons, Austin Lipscomb, and Owen Ball; three sisters, Verna “Punkin” Travis, Tunnelton, Patricia “Patty” Taylor and companion, Junior, Howesville, Carrie Lynn Sisler and Roger, Howesvile, two sisters-in-law, Linda Kelley and Harlin, Tunnelton, Barbara McCloud, Albright; one brother-in-law, Woody Pase, Tunnelton, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Bessie is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clay Sisler in 2016; two brothers, Elza Andrew Taylor Jr and wife, Patty and David Earl Taylor; four brothers-in-law, Brooke Travis, Richard Sisler, Alan Sisler, Raymond McCloud Sr.; one sister-in-law, Rose Mary Pase; her special friend, Helen Howell.  Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 3pm to time of funeral service at 7pm with Pastor Rev Ray Frankhouser officiating with proper distancing and face mask required.
