Mr. Chadwick Lee “Chad” Crosby, 47, died suddenly Thursday (September 24, 2020) at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Waycross who was a 1991 graduate of Waycross High School. Chad was employed by Andy Day Construction, and he was a member of Sweat Memorial Baptist Church. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Chad was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Crosby and Betty Louise Lee Crosby. Survivors include seven siblings, Sammy Gaskins (Bonnie) of Waycross, Robert Donald Gaskins (Mary Ann) of Valdosta, Deborah Lynn Thomas (Quincy David) of Waynesville, Bobbie Denise Tiner of Waycross, Pam Crosby Mincey of Screven, Mike Crosby (Cecelia) of Blackshear, and Susie Crosby Peeples (Danny) of Screven; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and his beloved dog, Briar. A visitation will be held 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday (September 27, 2020) at Music Funeral Home. Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.musicfuneralhome.com.
