It is with great sadness, we the family of Bonnie Jean Bergdahl passed away suddenly on September 22, 2020. Bonnie was predeceased by her parents Ivan and Irene Raymond; her husband of 48 years Larry Bergdahl; two brothers Derrell and Dale Raymond; sister Vada (Richard) Holland; nephews Andrew Raymond and Joey Maas; father in law Sanford Bergdahl; mother in law Elsie Bergdahl; sisters in law Delores (Gordon) Rakenruds, Shirley (Ralf) Olson, Ruth Bergdahl and Gladys Bergdahl. Bonnie will be sadly missed by her children James (Tara) Bergdahl and their children Alex and Courtney, Bradley Bergdahl, Brent (Heather) Bergdahl and their children Karlie and Chelsea, Kimberley (Jeff) Downey and their children Jayden and Sierra Downey, and Jordan (Sherri); great grandsons Luka and Loic; sister Elaine (Elmer) Erixon of Weyburn and their family; sisters in law Dorthy Fredericks, Ruby Ror, Elizabeth Bergdahl, Jean (Eugene) Ror as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. Bonnie was born March 7, 1950 the second youngest of five children. Bonnie was born at home and was delivered by her aunt Gladys. The family moved to Weyburn in 1954 she was four years old. She received all her schooling in Weyburn. She married Larry Bergdahl on April 10, 1971 and they has three boys and one girl. She was always happy when her family came to visit. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren more than life itself. She dedicated her spare time working with the elderly, running a kitchen cooking, and spoiling them., She loved to bake, play bingo, attending hockey, bowling and whatever her children were doing. She had a special love for animals, especially dogs. She enjoyed feeding her birds and squirrels. At Bonnie’s request there will be no formal service. A private family celebration will take place. In living memory of Bonnie, a memorial planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
