<p>Clarence Byrge &ldquo;C.B.&rdquo; Hoskins, Sr., 82, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday September 24, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday September 30th at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Reverend Stephen Childers officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Aaron Dragoo, Justin Dragoo, John Bartlett, Alva Boyd, Dennis Pursley, Jonathon Watson, Tanner Pursley, and Matt Watson serving as pallbearers.. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be conducted Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.</p> <p>Mr. Hoskins was born June 9, 1938 in Hazard, KY to the late Dewey and Margaret Reba Byrge Hoskins, Sr. He was a retired machinist from Ford Motor and worked maintenance at Southfield Apartments for 20 years. Mr. Hoskins was a member of Oakland Baptist Church, the Greenbrier Masonic Lodge, and the Eastern Star Lodge 469. He enjoyed hunting, watching westerns, and playing banjo, guitar, and mandolin.</p> <p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Sharon Ann Camery, his stepdaughter: Deborah Ann Bartlett, and by his siblings: Roy, Seldon, Fred, and Dewey Hoskins, Jr. Mr. Hoskins is survived by his wife of 42 years: Ruth Greer Hoskins of Springfield, by his son: Clarence B. Hoskins, Jr. of Ohio, by his daughters: Teresa Jane Boyd, Vicy Reba Watson, Glenna Sue Hoskins all of Ohio, Tina Kay Hoskins of Texas, by his step-sons: Dennis Pursley and Alva Harrison Boyd, Jr., by his brothers: Dean, Leon, Dayton, and Denver Hoskins all of Kentucky, Sonny Hoskins of Florida, by his sister: Dorothy Campbell of Ohio, by 21 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and by many great, great great, and great great great grandchildren.</p>
