Granville Matthew Clay Bryan San Angelo, Texas Obituary

Granville Matthew Clay Bryan

The family he created and the family he came from suffered a terrible unexpected loss September 23, 2020 when Matthew Bryan, age 23, passed from a car accident early Wednesday morning. Matthew’s spirit is carried with his daughter, Aaliyah Bryan; his loving Fiancé and forever dance partner, Kimberly Barrientos; his parents, Misty Seals and Craig Jorgenson; siblings, Cherilyn, Otis, Hollie, and Michael; all his aunts and uncles, and cousins, and countless other loved friends and extended family from every walk of life. Matthew was a devoted partner and father in the truest sense of the word. Having just started his collegiate career, Matthew intended to eventually transfer to UT Austin. He had acquired a passion for learning and personal growth. In addition to school and work, he remained closely connected to his family and friends making sure to spend time with them almost daily. Anyone whose lives were touched by his beautiful soul are welcome to attend the viewing service that will be held at Shaffer Funeral Home on Monday, September 28th, from 9:00am-8pm, and the burial that will be the following day Tuesday, September 29th, at 2pm located at Fairmount Cemetery. A memorial celebration will immediately follow the burial at his surviving sisters Hollie’s home that anyone is welcome to attend to reminisce, grieve, and support each other.
