<p><strong>Rebecca (Becky) Jean Day went peacefully to be with the Lord at her home on Friday September 25, 2020 surrounded by close family and friends at the age of 51. She was born on August 9, 1969 in Sarasota, Florida. Becky enjoyed crafts, spending time with family, going to yard sales, and going to the beach. She was a Christian and attended church at Word of God Ministries. She was one of the sweetest ladies you would have ever met and selfless in every way. She was a strong fighter that battled cancer for many years but kept the faith all the way to the end.</strong></p> <p><strong>She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Brown and a sister, Anna Bernice.</strong></p> <p><strong>Becky is survived by her father, Dillis Day and wife Diane; her 2 sisters, Missy Day and Bertie Myers and husband Roger Myers; her brother, Jesse Hodges; her 2 sons, Rusty Day and Ray Butler; her many nieces and nephews, Patty, Paul and wife Julie, Jennifer and husband Jonathan, Christopher and wife Krista, Amanda, Charlie, Austin, Stephen, Emily, Tenley, Cali, Abby, Chase, Trent, Cecilia; her best friend, Candy Foster; and many more family members and friends.</strong></p> <p><strong>Becky&rsquo;s request was cremation.</strong></p> <p><strong>West-Murley Funeral Home is serving the family of Rebecca (Becky) Jean Day.</strong></p>
