Frances Sarah Carpenter, age 74, passed away September 18, 2020. Frances was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, daughter and friend. She was a long-time resident of Rutherford County and spent many years working at Spindale Mills and Autumn Care. She is survived by her sons, Keenan Carpenter and Shawn Carpenter; granddaughters, Avis Twitty, Kendra Carpenter and Mary Carpenter; great granddaughter, Jayden Carpenter; and sibling, Annette Burnette. Frances was preceded in death by her parents Frank Hamilton and Sarah Wilkins Lynch and her siblings; Carl Lynch, Monroe Lynch Jr., Charles Lynch, Herman Lynch, McDonald Lynch, Lillian Logan and Louise Forney all of Rutherford County. Graveside services will be held 2PM Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church Cemetery with Pastors Keith Lipsey and William Logan officiating.
