Judith Lee "Judy" Pabst Obituary

PABST, Judith Walter “Judy”, age 81, of Miamisburg, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Sycamore Glen Care Center. Judy was born in Findlay, grew up in North Baltimore, Ohio and then graduated from Bowling Green State University. She then began teaching at Findlay High School and later married husband Donald F. Pabst at her hometown church in North Baltimore, Ohio. Later Judy moved to Cincinnati, Washington Township and Miamisburg. She was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Judy liked to sing in church choirs, community groups and was very active in her church. She was the first female president of her church council and was active in WELCA, PTO, Garden Club, PEO, Alpha Gamma Delta, and the Red Hat Society. In addition, Judy loved to be with family in northern Michigan, cook, bake, travel, cards, games, OSU football, crafts, gardening, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric; sister, Kathy Smith; and parents, Viola and Ernie Walter. Judy is survived by her husband, Don; daughter, Amy Spiegelberg, her husband, Greg and their children, Grant and Sara; daughter, Allison Hanlin, her husband, Greg, and their children Ben and Ethan; brother, Jim Walter, his wife, Kim; sister, Jackie Keller, her husband, Paul; sister-in-law, Jean Pabst; brother-in-law, Gates Smith; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Due to the covid virus, there will be a private funeral with burial at David's Cemetery. Remembrances may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 31W.
