Frederick “Fred” L. Littleton, 56, of Coralville, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service is handling arrangements. Memorial's in Fred's memory may be directed to an educational fund to benefit Fred’s children. Frederick Lee Littleton was born May 12, 1964 in Chicago, the son of Thomas and Louise (Callahan) Littleton. Growing up in Chicago, he graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and attended Malcolm X College. Moving to the Iowa City / Coralville area in 2005, Fred worked as a cook at Jimmy Jack’s, Atlas World Grill and most recently, at Basta, where he planned and catered meals to the Iowa Hawkeye football team. Fred enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears, cooking, watching his boys’ ball games and back yard barbecues with friends. Survivors include his wife Krista Littleton; sons, Kaden and Cameron Littleton; daughters, Kyler Littleton and Kewana Freeman; his mother, Louise Callahan, sisters, Tina Littleton (Thomas Presswood) and Gail Littleton (Darren Brandy) and several nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his father and a son Jevon Littleton..
