Roland Don Smitherman, 70, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away September 24, 2020 at his residence in Maplesville, Alabama.
He was born July 11, 1950 in Clanton, Alabama. He was the son of the late Doil Smitherman and Inez Payne Smitherman.
He was a boilermaker and owned Southern Tank and Repair in Grand Bay, Alabama.
Surviving are his Wife, Debra Lynn Smitherman; Sons, Robbie D. (Apryl) Smitherman, Don (Tajuana) Smitherman, Jr., and Reggie D. (Shannon) Smitherman; Grandchildren, Blake Smitherman, Tori Rodriguez, Laura Stange, Brice Smitherman, Vivian Smitherman, Gage Smitherman, Porsche Smitherman, Asiah Smitherman, Madison Smitherman, and Kinzi Smitherman; Great-Grandchildren, AJ Rodriguez, Sadie Rodriquez, Waylon Rodriguez, and Dawson Stange.
He was preceded in death by His Father, Doil Roscoe Smitherman; Mother, Mary Inez Smitherman; Sister, Faye Carter; Brothers, Randy Smitherman and Daniel Smitherman, Grandson, Levi Smitherman.
Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist #2 Cemetery with Bro. Gage Smitherman and Bro. John Barfoot officiating.
