On Monday, September 21st, Ronald Eugene Lopshire Sr. of Battle Creek passed away at the age of 74 Years to his Heavenly home. Ronald was born on July 12, 1946 in Battle Creek to Robert and Veronica (Olesko) Lopshire. He attended Harper Creek Schools and graduated in 1965. He worked at McGraw Edison, Bedford Township Hall, and Walker Manufacturing. Ronald liked working outside and in his garage. In his early years he liked to go deer hunting and fishing. Ronald married Susan (Susie) Cooley on February 4th, 1967. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling. His nickname was Mr. Fix It. Ronald is survived by his wife Susie, Son Ron Jr. (Shell) Lopshire, Son Gregg (Miranda) Lopshire, 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and Brother Raymond (Diane) Lopshire. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Ralph, Roger, and Robert. Visitation with family will be held Monday, September 28th, 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Family Alter Chapel 14844 6 ½ Mile Road, with Memorial service at 3:00 PM. Cremation has taken place per Ronald’s request. Due to Covid 19 restrictions we ask that only immediate family and friends attend.
