Mr. Otis Edward "OE" Clay, 71, of Elberton, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Heardmont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Clay was born in Manhattan, NY on April 25, 1949, son of the late Earnest Clay and Katherine Odister. He was retired from the granite industry having worked the majority of his life in quarries. He served his country in the military. Survivors include his son, Edward Clay and his wife Shamaica Clay of Elberton; seven grandchildren; and sister, Thelma Odister Wheeler. He is preceded in death by his son, Bernard Clay; brother, Alex Odister; and sister: Eurin Clay Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no formal services will be held at this time.
