Loretta F. Poling Obituary

Loretta F. Poling, 81, of Greensburg, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Decatur County Hospital. Born May 22, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of George W. Clark and Adeline A. (Allmon) Clark. She married Rev. Eston E. Poling, Jr. on October 25, 1957, and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2018. 
Mrs. Poling is survived by her four children - Darrell Poling ; Kevin (Sherry) Poling ; Brian (Amy) Poling; and Cheryl Denise (Terry) Wagner, all of Greensburg. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grand children, two brothers: Wayne (Myrna) Clark of Sarasota, Florida and Thomas (Cheryl) Clark of Columbus, Ohio. and several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters; Ginger (Keith) Reynolds of W. Virginia and Joyce (Marlin) Reece of Ohio; and brother, Edward (Karen) Clark who had lived in Florida. 
Mrs. Poling graduated from Greenville High School in Greenville, Ohio. She served in the ministry with her husband for 60 years. 
She worked as a foster grandparent for the Greensburg Elementary School. Loretta loved singing and playing music. She was known for her quick wit and gentle spirit. She loved being a grandma to her grandkids as well as many "adopted grandkids" who attended Greensburg Elementary School. She loved to play games and was "always a winner!" 
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Bethel Apostolic Church, 630 W. Hendricks St, Greensburg, with Pastor Todd Smith and Rev Glenn Seaman officiating. Burial will be in South Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 4 - 8:00 PM. 
In lieu of flowers, you may send memorial donations to Bethel Apostolic Church at 630 W. Hendricks St, Greensburg, IN 47240.
