Ruby Ann Cole, of Beverly, passed away peacefully at the age of 62, September 20, 2020 at 2:10 a.m. at Beverly Hospital. She is survived by her husband Edward C. Cann, her only daughter Harmony J. Hanscom, and her grandchildren Amber & Steven. She is also survived by her siblings: Catherine, Debra, Thomas, Susan, and Richard. Daughter of Rita Pollack & Richard Cole (D), Ruby was born in New York, and raised in Salem, MA. Ruby was a local artist who spent much of her time with her family and friends. She loved nothing more than to gift those she loved with original artwork. Ruby has created murals, paintings, and sketches throughout the tri-city area. Ruby maintained a strong family bond with her mother, sisters, brothers and many nieces and nephews who always enjoyed a visit from Auntie Ruby. Laughter would abound at any event that Ruby attended. She was known for making an entrance with her eclectic collection of hats, scarves, and vests. With an artists’ spirit, she always found a silver lining. Through life’s battles, she looked to the Lord with a smile and love in her heart. Ruby’s family will be holding a private celebration of life. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. If you would like to send flowers and condolences, please address them to her mother, Rita Pollack, at 23 Circle Hill Road, Salem MA, 01970.
