Vickie Hamby

Belton - Vickie Susan Shackelford Hamby, 67, wife of Richard Kenneth Martin, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020. She was twice married, first to the late Robert E. Hamby. Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of James Melvin Shackelford and the late Florence Christine McCoy Shackelford. She was formerly employed with Woven Electronics in Simpsonville and a member of Ware Place Church of God. In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by daughter, Stacee Hamby Carver (Keith) of Belton; son, Robert Wayne Hamby of Piedmont; sister, Karen Capps of Pelzer; brothers, Randy Shackelford (Rose) of West Pelzer, Mike Shackelford of Belton and Danny Shackelford (Julia) of Pelzer; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Micah Hamby; and brother-in-law, James William “Billy” Capps. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, September 27, at Greenville Memorial Gardens with visitation following the service. The family member will be at their respective homes.
