She is survived by her children, Bettye Holman, Liz Franklin, Patricia Bolden (Al), Sylvester Franklin (Vergie), Dollie Jennings, and Joyce Franklin (David); brothers, Archie Murphy III (Shelia), Nathaniel Murphy (Diane), and Charlie Murphy (Pat), 16 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her children, Charles Franklin and Suzie Franklin. She was a member of Featherston Chapel A.M.E.
