On September 24, 2020, Charles Raymond Penrod, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born on October 28, 1952, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to John and Thais Penrod. Charles is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Fannie Penrod of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Charles is also survived by his children, son Joseph and his wife Bobbie, of Sapulpa Oklahoma, son Kevin and his wife Barbara, of Sand Springs Oklahoma, and by his sister, Vickie, and her husband Jim Geray of Greenwood, Texas. Charles had five grandchildren, Hollie, Desteny, Mason, Anna, and Justin, and five great-grandchildren. Charles served in the Air Force as a medical service specialist from November 1970 to October 1976. He retired from the City of Tulsa in April of 2006 as a telecommunications dispatch supervisor. Charles, a loving husband and father, loved muscle cars, NASCAR, and was proud of his corvette, his third child. He loved spending time outdoors fishing and visiting Colorado with family. The family has announced that there will be no services at this time and a private memorial will be held.
