Theresa M Downey , died September 24, 2020 at home. Born to Louis and Lucille Fritz in New Brunswick, NJ. She lived in Freehold for 20 years then moved to Orange City, Fl where she resided for 10 years before retiring to Manchester in 2001. She worked as a telephone operator for AT&T in New Brunswick, NJ before starting her family, she then went back to work until her retirement in 1987. She was a parishioner of St John’s Church for many years. She was devoted to her family and friends whom she loved very much and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband Vincent J Downey in 2007, son-in-law, Frank Antal in 2015 and brother, John Fritz in 2019. Leaving behind her children and their spouses; Susan Antal, Vincent & Patricia Downey, Teri & Thomas Carasiti, Marylou & Christopher Guinan, Keith & Linda Downey, her sisters, Marylou Guglielmo, Catherine Lombardo & husband Arthur, and Sister-in-law Valerie Fritz, her grandchildren, Brian Antal, Patrick Downey, Sean Downey, Leighann Guinan Maloney, Matthew Carasiti, Jeffrey Carasiti, Jill Guinan Sit, Glenn Carasiti, Kevin Downey, Erin Downey, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other family members. Due to Covid Memorial Gathering and Mass will be held at a later date. Cremation will be private.
