OXFORD- Christopher Gaynor Fitch, 47, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at a friend’s home where he was staying. He was born November 28, 1972 in Norway the son of Gaynor and Beverly (Pratt) Fitch. Chris was educated in Norway schools. He was proud to have received his GED in 1998 which he knew honored his mom. During his life he received much training in woodworking and sold many handcrafted items such as letter holders, hope chests, ships, and other beautiful items. Chris enjoyed landscaping and woodworking. His hobbies were building car models, music, and collecting memorabilia of John Lennon, The Beatles and Phish. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had many special friends such as Tina Farrar, Shannon Simons, Angie Walo, Blaine Whitney, Tina Landers, Haley Wormwood, Eric Grenier and many others. Also Wade, Angela, Traci and Nancy Conley Waymouth his second family. Preceded by his mother Beverly P. (Fitch) Kimball of Norway. Grandfathers Richard E. Pratt of Norway and Myron Fitch of Bridgton. Grandmother Lois Fitch of Bridgton. Cousin Mark Fitch of Bridgton. Step grandparents Ruth and Edwin Kimball of Norway, also his special dog “Manson” and cat “Lennon.” He is survived by his son Christopher Nelson of Norway and his mother Alicia Nelson of Oxford, his daughter Anabelle May of Auburn, her mother Kemson Paine, his father, step-father Steve and step-mother Yvette Kimball. Grandmother Madeline E. Pratt of Norway. Cousins Jane and Kerry Munn of Norway, Merlin “Larry” Moody of Waterford, Richard Moody of Waterford, Kevin Pratt of Minot, Christopher Blankenship of Knoxville, TN, and Kenny Pratt of Norway. Aunts and uncles Vira Micklon of Norway, “Scrapper” Pratt of Norway, Rachel and Jerry Coburn of South Paris. and Sally and David Blankenship of Knoxville, TN, and his loving cat “Echo.” Survived by Second cousins Erik, Charles and Elliot Munn; Ben, Nicholas “Nick” and Rene Moody. Step sister Sam Cilley and step brother Gary Lizotte There will be a public service held at the Norway Church of the Nazarene.
