Frank Clifton Jordan

<p>Frank Clifton Jordan, age 81, of Broken Bow OK passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2020. He was born on December 3, 1938.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Ruby (Warren) Jordan of the home; his son, Dennis Jordan; two daughters, Dian Jordan, and spouse Doug Werhane, and Nancy Jordan, and spouse David Jordan. Also, surviving him are his grandchildren Eric and Mykal Jordan, Kevin and Ashley Jordan, and Patrick Jordan and partner Ginger Morris; great-grandchildren Jake, Luke and Kolt Jordan, and Zane Jordan and Emrynn Rayburn; sisters Alene Allen and Elizabeth Seymour. He was preceded in death by parents, Frank and Clara (Burris) Jordan, sister Lucille McDonald; and brothers-in-law, Dale Allen, Gid Seymour, and Johnny McDonald.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Jordan was a member of the Church of Christ, Golden OK and was born and raised in the Oak Grove community, Broken Bow, OK.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>After graduating Broken Bow High School in 1957, he attended Eastern Oklahoma State College and then Oklahoma A&amp;M (OSU) where he received his bachelor&rsquo;s degree. He was employed in the poultry industry having worked for Joplin egg processing plant and as a Tyson chicken grower. He was a farmer and rancher. He grew cucumbers for the Brown pickle company, baled hay each summer, and raised cattle on his little farm on Sweet Home road. After retiring, in 1999, he and his wife created Pine Meadow Cabins in Hochatown where he especially enjoyed teaching young children to fish and appreciate nature. He would sing and play the steel guitar, fiddle, harmonica, and piano. Standing on the stage of the Grand Ol&rsquo; Opry in Nashville was a highlight of his musical interests.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A private graveside service will be held. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

I guess I can say I've know Clifton most of my growing up years in Broken Bow, Ok.
He was always one of the nicest people in School.  He married my baby sister while I was in the Air Force, stationed in 
Newfoundland.  I grew to love and respect him for the fine person...
