Marilyn Joyce Seale Obituary

Marilyn Joyce Seale

Marilyn Seale, 85 of Carnes, passed away early Wednesday morning with her loving husband by her side. She was born June 13, 1935 in Corry, PA, one of two daughters to William and Margaret (Foreman) Ingram. Growing up in the Corry area, Marilyn enjoyed the outdoors. She was her dad's hunting partner and a NASCAR fan as well. After graduating high school, Marilyn decided to go West. In 1960, she moved to Riverside, CA and went to work as a secretary for Rockwell International / North American Aviation. She advanced quickly and became an executive assistant, working closely with engineers and technicians in the Apollo program. While league bowling one evening, she met another bowler named Carl Seale. They dated and were married in the late 60s, moving to New Orleans in the early 70s. They also spent some time in North Carolina while Carl did construction work, before returning to California where they lived until 1989. They decided to move to Las Vegas and Marilyn went to work for the Sahara as conventions coordinator. While there she met many musicians and celebrities, like Jane Russell, Jerry Lewis, John Forsyth, Lorne Greene and many more. The most memorable person she ever met there was Arnold Palmer. Marilyn is fondly remembered as a free-spirited woman that was always open-minded. A caring, devoted wife, she was the type that gave 110% to whatever she was doing, but expected that same effort from those around her. A dedicated wife and companion, and true friend to so many, she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her parents, William and Margaret Ingram. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of over 50 years, Carl Seale, her only sister, Honey (Gene) Shearer of VA, with numerous friends through the years. Her final wishes were to be cremated and scattered in her favorite place, which her husband is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Seale family in this difficult time. Please keep Carl and the Seale family in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
