Mendra Cummings, age 97, of Richlands, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020. A celebration of Ms. Cummings’ life will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at St. Louis Missionary Baptist Church, 188 Quaker Bridge Rd., Jacksonville, NC 28546. A viewing will be held one (1) hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Cummings Cemetery. Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Willie Cummings (Brenda) and Mendra Rhodes both of Richlands, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
