Kari Poorman, age 57 of Carl Junction passed away at home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Kari was born on June 14, 1963 in Newfoundland, Canada to Ernest K. and Myrna (Goodrich) Lindley. Kari was united in marriage to Steven Poorman on September 9. 1995 in Redlands, California. Together they had four children. Kari loved her children and granddaughter very much. They were her world. She loved playing board games and could be extremely competitive. To relax she enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, and putting together puzzles. She was the best wife, mom, grandma, and friend and will be dearly missed. Kari was preceded in death by her father, and one brother Kyle Lindley. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Steve Poorman, sons, Robert Poorman (Katie), Dylan Poorman, Caleb Poorman, and Blake Poorman. One granddaughter Caroline Poorman, her mother, Myrna Lindley, and one brother Keith Lindley. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory, Joplin, Missouri.
