Brigitte Raab

Brigitte Raab, of Paris, widow of Emanuel Raab, departed this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, having attained the age of 80 years. She was born in Grieskirchen, Austria, on June 13, 1940, the daughter of the late Alois and Rosa Muckenhumer Kaser; worked as a dental assistant at the University of Chicago; was a German-English language teacher for overseas troops in Germany, worked as a receptionist for Dr. Raab, and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemarie Mayr. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Regina Maria Raab (Ben Invergo); a son, Christopher Emanuel Raab; grandchildren, Anna Magdalene Invergo, Christine Marie Invergo, Emily Rose Invergo, and Sofia Elizabeth Raab. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law. A private graveside service will be held at the Robindale Farm Cemetery, officiated by Father Jim Sichko. The family suggests donations to the A.S.P.C.A. 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504. www.hintonturner.com
