Mr. Louie Glenn Davenport of Troy, AL passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at his residence. He was 72. Graveside services for Louie Glenn Davenport will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at a Private Family Cemetery with eulogy by James Harrelson. Burial will follow with full Military Honors by the Ft. Rucker detail, Skeen Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends Friday at the cemetery from 1:00 p.m. until service time. He was born September 8, 1948 in Troy, AL to the late Rufus Richard Davenport and Mildred Louise Donaldson Davenport. He was in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Montana Davenport, Troy; sons, Will Davenport (Michel), Grovetown, GA. and Horace Lisenby, Dothan, AL; daughter, Christie Mansfield, Anaconda, MT; brother, Walter Green, Troy; sisters, Linda Johnson, Rocky Head, AL, Brenda Hughes, Springhill, AL and Vanessa Ellis (Jimmy), Tarentum, AL; several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Sanders, Chris Sanders, Shannon Hughes, Tye Hughes, Dan English and Marcus Bradley.
