Bonnell Waters

Bonnell Waters, age 94, of Ball Ground, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at her residence. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Ophir Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Eubanks, Rev. Troy Milford and Rev. Jerry Frazier officiating. A public viewing will be held at Sosebee Funeral Home on Friday, September 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Waters was the oldest member of Ophir Baptist Church. She was a hard worker who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. Bonnell was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Waters and son, Charles Waters. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Voyles; grandchildren, Greg Waters (Amy) and Brad Blackwell (Sandy); great-grandchildren, Kassie Blackwell, Cody Waters, Mason Blackwell and Baylee Blackwell; daughter-in-law, Louise Waters; sisters-in-law, Naomi Baldwin and Lola Baldwin; nieces, nephews, many friends and loved ones. Serving as pallbearers are Greg Waters, Brad Blackwell, Cody Waters, Mason Blackwell, Brandon Ridings and Mickey Waters. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ophir Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are required, no food is permitted and limited seating is available due to social distancing requirements.
