Deja Kimimila Tobacco was born on December 27, 1983 in Minneapolis, MN to Vincent Tobacco, Jr. and Joan Running Hawk. Deja made her journey to the Spirit World on September 21, 2020 in New York City, NY. Deja is survived by her siblings, Leticia Mesteth of Box Elder, SD, Justin Tobacco, Vincetta (Charles) Tobacco-Vermillion, Vince Roger Tobacco, Germaine Tobacco, Romaine Tobacco, Frenchee Tobacco, and Vincent Tobacco III all of Pine Ridge, SD; aunts, Cathy Bianas and Diane Ramos both of Pine Ridge, SD, and Janet Carrera of Scottsbluff, NE; uncle, Albert Running Hawk of Pine Ridge, SD; and numerous nieces & nephews. Deja was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Joan (Running Hawk) Tobacco; sister, Ann Marie Tobacco; brother, Manuel Tobacco, Sr.; aunt, Margaret Running Hawk; grandparents, Irene & Vincent, Sr. Tobacco, Hattie Bad Heart Bull, and Joseph Running Hawk; and niece, Danielle Martin. Pallbearers will be Stryker Tobacco, Justin Ghost Bear, Marissa Jaso, Vanessa Carrera, Steve Yankton, Ashley Colhoff, Valentina Makes Him First, and Jennifer Mesteth-Two Bulls. Honorary pallbearers will be all Relatives & Friends.
