Peacefully, on Sunday, September 20, 2020 Delma Melnyk, beloved wife of Myron, passed away at the Douglas Campbell Lodge at the age of 90 years.

Delma was the fifth child of Frank and Florestine Poitras.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of twenty years, Myron, her son, Gerry (Sandy) Hamilton, daughter, Bonny (Danny), and her grandson, Cary (Tiffani) Hamilton.  She will also be remembered by her four brothers, Joseph (Elsa), Maurice-Guy (Donna), Ivan (June), and Ray (Pam) as well as many, many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews throughout Canada.  She was predeceased by her three sisters Agnes, Rose Bertha, and Ina and her brother, Arthur. Delma was born in San Clara, MB and was a portrait photographer for many years, both in Canada and the United States.

She enjoyed social gatherings with friends and families and kept in-touch with her life-long friends.

We would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Douglas Campbell Lodge for the excellent care they provided to Delma over these past several years to help keep her comfortable as well as for their assistance during this difficult time.
