Ivan J. Corazalla, age 74, of Merrill, WI, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Tomahawk Health Services under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. Ivan was born September 19, 1946, in Wausau, WI, to the late Earl and Florence (Holl) Corazalla. He was a 1964 graduate of Newman High School in Wausau. He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Ivan was a great, fun-loving person. He was generous to a fault. He lived life to the fullest and was an excellent pool player and golfer. Ivan grew up in Rothschild, WI. He was the oldest of three children. His Grandpa and Grandma Holl were his role models for most of his life. Ivan worked for Pizza Hut. He moved often to open up and run new locations. He is survived by Mary Matz, of Merrill; her two sons, Duwayne and Daniel; and Mary’s mom, Ruth Radlinger, also of Merrill. He is further survived by his special friends, Sharon Jenkins of Minnesota, Jerry and Jane Herzog, of Rib Mountain, along with many others. A Celebration of Life Gathering for Ivan will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020, from 11 AM to 4 PM at Callon Street Pub at 209 Callon Street in Wausau.
