Charlene Jones “Peachie” Hatton, 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.  A native of Clark County, she was born on May 20, 1951, to the late James Harrison and Margaret Richardson Jones.  She was previously employed at Cincinnati Airport and Osram Sylvania.  Survivors include three children, Scott (Stephanie) Elkin, Michelle (James) Abney and Jeremiah Eytcheson; seven grandchildren, Teghan Rose Black, Kayla Johnson, Matthew Elkin, Allison Elkin, Olivia Elkin and James Hawkins; five great grandchildren, Ariah Bella Bolduc, Joseph E. Epperson, Kal-El Hawkins, Katherine Hawkins and James R Hawkins; four sisters, Betty Jones King, Barbara (Doc) Elkin, Sharron Olinger and Anna Wells.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kyra Eytcheson; and brother-in-law, Orville “Gene” King.    Services will be at 10:00AM, Friday, September 25, 2020 at Scobee Funeral Home by Dr. Todd Rader.  Burial will follow in the Elkin Family Cemetery on White Conkwright Road, Winchester, KY 40391.  Pallbearers will Scott Elkin, Harold Jones, Doc Elkin, Mike South, James Wells, Stanley South, Betty King and Barbara Elkin.  Visitation will be Friday from 9:00AM until time of service.
